Publisher A health foods industry journalist since 1984, Dan was the Editor and Associate Publisher of Whole Foods magazine prior to founding VRM, and has been in business magazine publishing since 1980. Dan has reported extensively about the health and natural products industry. He is a 1980 graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor of arts degree in Journalism and Political Science.

Russ Fields (732) 432-9600 x102 RussF@vitaminretailer.com	Associate Publisher Russ works in the area of advertising sales. Prior to joining VRM Russ was the publisher of Health Products Business magazine. He has been in the publishing business since 1988.

Kate Quackenbush (732) 432-9600 x103 KateQ@vitaminretailer.com	Editor in Chief Kate Quackenbush recently joined VRM and is the company’s editor-in-chief. A trade magazine veteran, Kate was the managing editor for Convenience Store Decisions, a Penton Media publication for convenience store decision makers, covering the industry for seven years. Prior to that she worked in medical textbook publishing for Thorofare, NJ-based SLACK, Inc. Kate graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in English and a Creative Writing Concentration, and has written freelance articles for Inside Cherry Hill, Inside Evesham and Rockpile magazine, as well as pamphlets for the Multiple Sclerosis Association.

Janet Poveromo (732) 432-9600 x104 JanetP@vitaminretailer.com	Managing Editor Janet Poveromo recently joined VRM as associate editor after spending many years working in journalism. Most recently she was a freelancer for The Star-Ledger, New Jersey’s largest newspaper with a daily circulation of more than 480,000. Having an extensive media background, Janet writes news, features and columns for VRM. Her professional experience includes working as a writer for Dorf Feature Service, a news organization for The Star-Ledger. While there she covered municipal government in Middlesex County, NJ. She also wrote feature articles for the paper’s weekly community news section. Prior to that she had been an account executive for a public relations agency. Janet is a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.

Tanya Kenevich (732) 432-9600 x108 TanyaK@vitaminretailer.com	Associate Editor Tanya has been writing and editing almost since she could walk. She graduated from Rowan University with a B.A. in Journalism. Tanya was also editor-in-chief of her college paper, The Whit, and a former intern at Curious Parents magazine. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys reading, listening to obscure music and editing her friends’ emails (without them asking first).

Brian Ellis (732) 432-9600 x105 BrianE@vitaminretailer.com	Assistant Editor Brian Ellis graduated from Ithaca College in 2006 with a BA in Writing and a concentration in Fiction. He has been an unrealistic dreamer ever since. Currently, his writing has been featured at the online publications Purpleprose, Dealing with Learning Disorders and Classical Domain. He is also writing new fiction as well as editing old in hopes for future publication. On a personal note, Brian enjoys the humility of working next to a massive graveyard.

Christopher DeCellio (732) 432-9600 x101 ChrisD@vitaminretailer.com	Art Director/Production Manager Chris is responsible for the design and production of our magazines and maintains the company website. Chris has previously served as an art director and production manager in other areas of publishing prior to joining VRM. He is a 2001 graduate of The College of New Jersey with a BA in Graphic Design.

Suzy Krahenbuhl (732) 432-9600 x106 Suzyk@vitaminretailer.com	Assistant Art Director Suzy assists Chris with the production and layout work for the magazines as well as updating the website. She is a 2007 graduate of The College of New Jersey with a BA in Interactive Multimedia.

Roy Kieffer (702) 617-9378 RoyK@vitaminretailer.com	Advertising Sales Manager Based in VRM's West Coast sales office located in Las Vegas, Roy has primary responsibility for accounts located in the West, Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions. Prior to joining VRM, he was National Sales Director for KC Publications, a publisher of books and calendars.
