An Innovator and an Earth-Friendly Choice

Founded in 2002, Ayurceutics recognizes that its actions can have a large impact on the environment. “[We] always look for the most earth-friendly, sustainable choice at every step in the production of Ayurceutics,” the company said.

Ayurceutics’ Products Feature

Vegetarian capsules and tablets with no animal-derived or GMO ingredients

Vegetarians and vegans can feel comfortable with Ayurceutics capsules and tablets. Some ingredients used to produce high-quality tablets can be of animal or vegetable origin. The company said it has been careful to make sure there are no animal derived ingredients in its products. The rice flour and corn-derived maltodextrin used to ensure a consistent dose in its capsules is non-GMO.

Sustainably Wildcrafted and Cultivated Herbs
Concerned about biodiversity and the source of its herbs, most of the herbs used to produce Ayurceutics’ extracts are wildcrafted, harvested in a responsible way that preserves the plants in the wild.

Pure Herbs
Sophisticated analytical testing equipment allows the company to screen herbal materials for high levels of the desired plant compounds and screen out undesirables like heavy metals and pesticides.

Herbal Extracts are Non-Irradiated
Produced at its state-of-the art factory, these pure and potent products are never subjected to radiation.

Extraction Using Only Pure Water and Alcohol, Not Toxic Solvents
To concentrate the active ingredients in the herbs, some extracts are created using toxic solvents such as acetone and hexane. While these chemicals are absent in the final product, their disposal can be problematic from an environmental perspective. Ayurceutics’ said it uses only pure water and alcohol in producing its extracts.

Organic Cotton Stuffing
Cotton is one of the most demanding of all crops for synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Ayurceutics supports organic farming techniques by only using organic cotton as the stuffing in its bottles.

Bottles are Easily Recyclable #2 Plastic, HDPE

Ayurceutics’ bottle is custom manufactured especially for the company said it wanted something distinctive, beautiful and the most environmentally clean way to deliver its products. It settled on HPDE, #2 plastic, which is used to make milk jugs and is currently one of the most widely and easily recycled plastics. Pale colors like Ayurceutics’ bottle can simply be recycled with milk jugs.

Company History
Ayurceutics’ parent company is ingredient manufacturer, Avesthagen, Inc., founded in 1990, world leaders at producing patented, high-potency botanical extracts.

Its 8,000 square foot research and development center is equipped with state-of-the-art testing systems that allow it to monitor raw herbs and finished extracts for high levels of the desirable compounds as well as guarantying that both are free from heavy metals and pesticide contamination. It performs these same tests on its finished products then guarantees those results with independent, third-party testing.
