In 1984, widely respected food scientist Gilbert Gluck saw a tremendous new market just opening up. While in Toronto, Canada, he launched Cyvex Nutrition, a company that was devoted exclusively to ingredients of natural origin for the manufacture of dietary supplements. Gluck’s mission and vision was to supply dietary supplement marketers with standardized, branded ingredients to ensure superior and reliable quality, potency and safety. Cyvex moved to Irvine, CA in 1989, to better serve the burgeoning US dietary supplement industry. Today, Cyvex continues to innovate with the recent launch of Chirositol d-chiro-inositol and VitaTropic, a potent, wholesome antioxidant superfruit compound. Cyvex Nutrition also launched the latest version of its Antioxidant Wheel, which concisely presents the company’s portfolio of antioxidants in a colorful and easy-to-use manner.
