Marcor Development introduces Alpha Trim-W, a potent amylase inhibitor with three to six times the strength of bean-based starch blockers. Isolated from wheat protein, Alpha Trim-W inhibits up to 90 percent of amylase activity in standardized tests. It slows/prevents digestion of starches in the stomach and intestine, prolonging the sense of fullness and reducing caloric intake. Alpha Trim-W’s potency enables the delivery of a more effective starch blocker dose in a smaller capsule at a lower cost.
