Company History
Founded in 1971, FoodScience of Vermont is a third generation family-owned company. Key executives include Dom Orlandi, president; Dale Metz, CEO; and Deb Papillo, sales manager. DMG was the first product that launched the company into the industry. The company’s DMG research resulted in several patents in the area of immune response and arthritis. It has just recently combined its DMG with Perna (green lipped sea mussel) and received a patent in area of supporting lupus. The company’s patented DMG has also been recommended for years by Dr. Bernard Rimland, the leading authority at the Autistic Research Institute in San Diego, for treating autism, ADD/ADHD.
