Digital Ad Requirements
The PDF format is our preferred file format and can be sent electronically.
When sending native files on a disk, please include a PDF file.
Native files must include all high-resolution imports and all fonts.
Fonts must include both screen and printer elements. Please supply
a color proof (through the mail) even if you are sending your file
electronically. Files larger than 8 MB should not be emailed, send
via mail or FTP instead.
PC files: Adobe Illustrator files are acceptable if all fonts
are converted to graphics (outlines, curves). QuarkXPress files
are acceptable when basic fonts are used, unique fonts will be substituted,
or you can save document as a PDF or PhotoShop EPS file (300dpi).
File compression: We accept the following compressed file
formats: sea, sit, zip, mime.
Scanned images must be 300dpi CMYK or grayscale and saved
as a TIF or EPS file.
Maximum density: Should not exceed 300% for 4-color. Should
not exceed 85% in any shadow area for b/w.
Spot/PMS colors should be converted to CMYK, unless they
should print as Spot/PMS colors. Please designate the name of the
PMS.
Proofs: A digital color or b/w proof generated from the furnished
file should be supplied at 100%. When converting native files to
PDF, EPS, JPEG, etc., make sure your color proof is printed from
the final converted file. If no proof is included for color ads,
there will be a $45.00 charge to create a proof.
Film Requirements
Film should be supplied right-reading emulsion side down, 150 line
screen, with a color or b/w proof, or a match print. If no proof
is included for color ads, there will be a $45.00 charge to create
a proof.
Black & White, and Two Color: Maximum screen density for any
shadow should not exceed 85%.

Classified Ads
Classified ads are limited to Help Wanted, Position Sought, Business
For Sale, and other similar situations. Classified ad rates: $45
minimum charge for up to 40 words; $1 per word for each word over
40. Ads will run in next available issue. Send ad copy along with
