Catherine Peklak, former president of Scandinavian Naturals, Inc. (1990-2001), created Scandinavian Formulas in 2001, focusing on the manufacture and supply of fine nutritional products, and in 2005 introduced SalivaSure®, a saliva stimulating lozenge to address dry mouth due to chemo and radiation therapy, various medications and medical conditions.
Scandinavian Formulas’ nutritional and OTC products are manufactured under strict GMP conditions with regular quality audits being conducted. Its manufacturing facility tests all ingredients, conducts in-processing testing and finished product testing. Finished products undergo a final analytical testing to ensure activity levels and purity.
