Ocean Blue Quality Products, founded in 2004, is a subsidiary of Sancilio & Company, Inc. (SCI, Riviera Beach, FL). Dr. Frederick D. Sancilio, a recognized leader in pharmaceutical research and development for over 30 years, founded SCI. The company operates a US FDA registered laboratory in Florida and has recently began offering contract manufacturing of tablets, capsules and soft gelatin capsules to pharmaceutical and nutritional companies seeking high-quality production.

While Ocean Blue Quality Products has focused on nutritional supplements containing essential omega-3s, the science behind the products is modeled after that used to develop modern prescription medicaments. SCI created the Ocean Blue line of products after years of research and experimentation. In fact, SCI is a pharmaceutical development company and applies the same rigorous methods to develop its nutritional supplements as it does developing medicine submitted for approval to the FDA.
